Design and realization of the special plant for the LiFUS III, used for the characterization of materials for Nuclear applications for ENEA Brasimone with high temperature and high pressure requirements.

The high vacuum chamber has been designed and manufactured by Criotec Impianti. Vacuum values of 1.0 e-7 mbar Shroud working at RT (Water cooled) Cold finger at 65 K (with undercooled liquid nitrogen).

Cryogenic active carbon cold trap for gaseous helium in liquid nitrogen bath. Design and realization done by Criotec Impianti. Design pressure of 300 bar. Flow rate: 200 Nm3 /h. The system guarantees a gas purity of 1x10-7 ppm.

Design and manufacture of an accelerated rapid rate thermal cycling chamber for space sample characterization and test. Working temperature range between -180°C and +320 °C, with a 100 °C/min minimum cooling speed.

Skid mounted steam vaporization unit for liquid nitrogen, with atmospheric backup vaporizer (not shown in the picture) in case of emergency fault. Designed according to ASME BPVC Div. 1.

Design and manufacturing of a high vacuum chamber, including impeller, rotors, diffusion pumps and an automatic control panel. It is able to achieve, as request by the customer, a vacuum of 10-4 mbar in 20 minutes. This chamber is equipped with a DN800 valve for the interseption of the diffusion pump.

Criotec designed and manufactured high vacuum insulated air-transportable tanks, with a nominal capacity of 500 Gallons, equal to almost 2000 litres, for the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare Italiana). Suitable for breathing oxygen used by pilot during missions.
